For a while we had been wanting to go on another camping trip after our last excursion to Joshua Tree, and we had our eyes on doing something in Sequoia National Park. Unfortunately we wanted to go in January which would require winter gear. Nonetheless we decided to acquire the gear and plan out our trip.
